started mtnbiking 15yrs ago, but really discovered spinning in boston in 2001 when i borrowed a buddy's mtnbike to ride home late-night and soon was riding his bike everywhere. it was freedom, stress relief, fitness. mtnbiking was more fun with better legs. my fortune changed with that bike. i met jenn. got fit. took (some!) things less seriously. my buddy eventually re-claimed his bike, but it was too late, i was hooked.

i got into xc's in 2003, completed my goal of the solo 24 in 2004, did a cpl more, then found 100 milers while working up the xc ranks. i met riders like andy (sanidas), who keeps cooking-up rides more epic than the one before. i met local racers, like thom (parsons) and found my way onto IF.

i like big wheels, big rides, big beers and big plates of food. and my daughter's big smile. and of course, my ti deluxe 29'er! hope to see ya' out there.
