Racing History:
I started racing mountain bikes in 2000, rapidly rising through the Beginner and Sport ranks in XC. A broken ankle in 2001 derailed my Expert debut. Life got in the way and I didn't resume racing until 2004. Picking up where I left off, I started dabbling in endurance racing and now focus on it. In 2007 I upgraded to Semi-pro, made the podium in 3 12-hour solo races and had 2 top-15 finishes in NUE races, finishing 7th overall. I've been riding IF bikes since 1998, racing on the IF Grassroots team since 2005 and I don't think I ever want to ride anything else.
